Competition Board approved certain merger and joint venture applications

According to the announcement on the Competition Authority’s website, the Board approved the acquisition of MHM Holding Gmbh by Mavco Investments Private Ltd. It was decided to allow the transfer of sole control of Robert Bosch GmbH’s security and communication technology products business unit, Keenfinity GmbH and Bosch Security Systems LLC, to a fund managed or advised by Triton GP Holdco SARL. The establishment of a full-function joint venture by Hunan Yunchu Circular New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd., Meiwa (Shanghai) Corporation, and Minmetals New Energy Materials (Hunan) Co., Ltd. was deemed suitable. The interconnected transactions involving the acquisition of Pactiv Evergreen Inc. by Novolex Holdings, LLC and thereafter the joint control of Novolex Holdings, LLC by Apollo Capital Management L.P. and Canada Pension Plan Investment Board were approved. The acquisition of sole control of Biesterfeld Plastik Ticaret AŞ by Biesterfeld Plastic GmbH and the acquisition of sole control of Biesterfeld Özel Kimyasallar Ticaret AŞ by Biesterfeld Spezialchemie GmbH were permitted. The establishment of a new joint venture between Officine Maccaferri S.p.A., indirectly controlled by a fund managed by Ambienta Sgr S.p.A., and Prime Synthetic Solutions Ltd., jointly controlled by Teijin Limited and Miller Prime Ltd., was found acceptable. The acquisition of all shares of Elmer Yazılım Danışmanlık ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi by Mustafa Kemal Cılız and Graham David Stevinson through Infonet Bilgi Teknolojileri Ticaret AŞ was decided to be allowed.
