The auction process for the privatization of the construction, maintenance, and operation services of vehicle inspection stations for a period of 20 years has been finalized.

In separate auctions held for two regions, the “MOI Joint Venture Group” offered the highest bid totaling one billion 720 million dollars. The auction for the privatization of vehicle inspection stations was carried out with the participation of three joint venture groups.

After receiving initial offers in sealed envelopes, the auction was conducted through an open bidding process, and the “MOI Joint Venture Group” won the auction with a total bid of one billion 720 million dollars.

The construction, maintenance, and operation services of vehicle inspection stations underwent their first privatization procedures in 2007, and 20-year concession contracts were signed the same year. The duration of the contract signed after the first auction will expire on August 14, 2027.
