Crisis deepening in Sudan: Bodies of 11 people recovered from a well

In Sudan, clashes continue between the Armed Forces and rapid support forces in the ongoing civil war. The Sudanese armed forces are advancing in the capital Khartoum. The Feyhaa neighborhood was taken from the rapid support forces. Bodies of 11 people, including women and children, were found in a well in the neighborhood. Sudanese armed forces officials claimed that these individuals were killed by the Rapid Support Forces and dumped into the well. There has been no response from the Rapid Support Forces to these allegations.
CIVIL WAR IN CAPITAL KHARTOUM Sudan saw an outbreak of civil war in the capital Khartoum following disagreements over the dissolution of the paramilitary group called “Rapid Support Forces” and its integration into the army. The civil war, lasting for about 2 years, has resulted in the deaths of thousands of people, and 14 million Sudanese have been displaced within the country.
30 MILLION PEOPLE IN NEED OF AID According to the United Nations, more than half of them children, over 30 million people are in need of aid. Some regions have declared famine. The Rapid Support Forces, based in Darfur, rapidly expanded their control over territories during the civil war.
BIDEN’S GENOCIDE DECISION Former US President Joe Biden, shortly before leaving office, made a decision accusing the “Rapid Support Forces” of committing genocide. It is said that the Rapid Support Forces are supported by the United Arab Emirates, while the Sudanese Armed Forces receive support from Egypt, Iran, and Russia.
