The Syrian Ministry of Defense announced that the military operation targeting Assad loyalist forces in Tartus and Latakia has been completed. Huseyin Abdulghani, the spokesperson for the Syrian Ministry of Defense, declared that the military operation conducted against regime elements in the coastal regions of Tartus and Latakia, where intense clashes have occurred in recent days, has come to an end. Abdulghani emphasized that the remnants and officers of the toppled regime have been neutralized, significant areas have been cleared, and the security forces have ensured the safety of the main roads used to target security forces and civilians. The spokesperson mentioned, “Our forces have neutralized the remnants of the toppled regime in the villages of Muhtariyye, Muzayria, and Zubara in Latakia province, as well as in the villages of Dalye, Tanita, and Kadmous in Tartus province.” Abdulghani stated that the operation launched against pre-determined targets has been successfully completed, adding, “We will continue to combat the remnants of the toppled regime, aim to eliminate any future threats, and prepare new plans to prevent the reconstitution of criminal cells.”
