The deadline for the first installment payments of the motor vehicle tax (MTV) is approaching. The payment period for the 2025 MTV began on January 1st and will end by January 31st. Late fees will be imposed on those who do not pay on time. MTV is billed annually in January by the tax office where the vehicles are registered. MTV is paid twice a year, in January and July. MTV payments can be made through the Digital Tax Office or the GIB mobile application from 00:10 to 23:50 using bank or credit cards from affiliated banks, bank transfers, cards from foreign banks, authorized tax collection banks, tax office cashiers, and PTT branches.
