The number of oil drilling rigs in the US has decreased by 20 in the past year. Brent crude oil closed Thursday at $73.57 per barrel, while ending Friday at $72.81. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil ended Friday at $69.76 per barrel, after finishing Thursday at $70.35 per barrel.
