The statement from TBB emphasized that no such decision has been made and the reports are not accurate. The statement included the following words: “Some media outlets on digital platforms claim that banks are directing their customers to use ATMs instead of the bank tellers for transactions up to 20 thousand liras, referring to statements from the Turkish Banking Association. There is no decision or statement from the Turkish Banking Association regarding this matter.”
