If they pay 5,000 lira to the employee, I pay 2,000 lira. The ideal lahmacun should be a minimum of 70 and a maximum of 80 lira. There are also lahmacun sold for 40-50 lira. Some put gravel and concept oil in it. The meat should be clean and good.” Zeki Temizoglu, a kebab seller who has been in business for 25 years in Fatih, said that he sells lahmacun for 70 lira, and those who sell it expensively have high rent expenses. A GOOD LAHMACUN SHOULD NOT BE LESS THAN 150 LIRA Mevlut Demir, an 8-year-old shopkeeper working at a lahmacun shop in Kadikoy, said that a good lahmacun should not be less than 150 lira. PRICE IN GOKTURK REACHES 250 LIRA Chef Erdal Demir, who has a restaurant in Gokturk and sells lahmacun for 250 lira, stating that a good lahmacun will not be cheap, said, “1 kilogram of tomatoes is 35 lira, the price of kilogram of meat is 600 lira, the price of kilogram of bell pepper is 80 lira, the price of kilogram of onion is 35 lira, so if you can get out of this mess.
