Dozens of Women Deceived: Turns Out, 20-Year Lover was a Spy

England is facing one of the biggest fraud scandals in recent years. According to The Guardian, at least 25 police officers infiltrated political groups under false identities, deceiving women and engaging in sexual relationships. The victims, after many years, expressed experiencing significant trauma upon learning the true identities of these “undercover police officers.”
England is shaken by an unbelievable scandal. At least 25 undercover police officers infiltrated political groups, using fake identities to establish relationships with women and subjecting them to psychological and sexual abuse.
According to The Guardian, women were systematically deceived for over 40 years. In these relationships built on false identities, some undercover officers were accused of fathering children with the women.
20 YEARS LATER, THE TRUTH COMES TO LIGHT
One victim, Jacqui, said her life was “completely ruined” after discovering that a secret police officer was the father of her son over 20 years after his birth.
Police officer Bob Lambert left them when his son was a baby, claiming he had to flee abroad to avoid arrest by the police.
MORE THAN 50 WOMEN DECEIVED
It is known that over 50 women were deceived by undercover police officers, but the total number is currently unknown and likely higher.
The revelation of relationships with undercover officers left lasting psychological effects on the women. These manipulative and deceitful relationships damaged the women’s trust and made it difficult for them to form healthy relationships in the future.
40 YEARS OF SECRET MISSIONS AND DECEPTIVE RELATIONSHIPS
The relationships infiltrated by undercover officers were part of secret operations that began in 1968 and lasted over 40 years. Starting in the 1970s, the relationships continued until 2010. Of the 25 spies, only 2 were women, indicating that many women were unaware of the sexual relationships they had with undercover officers. The spies created fake identities by looking at birth and death records and used these identities for years to infiltrate political groups.
MONITORING POLITICAL GROUPS
Approximately 139 undercover police officers monitored over a thousand political groups, focusing particularly on leftist and progressive groups. These spies, in missions often lasting four years, gathered information about the groups’ protests by forming close relationships with activists. During this process, they acquired significant amounts of personal information including holiday plans, sexual orientations, and bank accounts.
HOW DID IT COME TO LIGHT?
The scale of the fraud was exposed when ITV aired “The Undercover Police Scandal: Love and Lies Exposed.”
During the process, five women conducted years of detective work to uncover the undercover police identities of their former boyfriends. These women researched archives and followed clues all the way overseas to identify the men after they disappeared.
COLLABORATING WITH THE GOVERNMENT
The clues provided by these women revealed that undercover police officers infiltrated political campaigns and engaged in inappropriate behavior, while the state allowed these operations to continue for years.
As a result of these new developments, the government was forced to launch a public inquiry. Led by retired judge John Mitting, the inquiry continues to examine the extensive missions of the undercover police officers.
