Drone Attack from Russia Injures 22 in 3 Ukrainian Cities

Ukrainian officials have revealed that at least 22 people were injured in drone attacks carried out by Russia, causing fires in the affected areas. Ukraine announced that Russian forces launched a major drone attack on the country’s east. The attacks resulted in fires and left at least 22 people injured. In a recent attack on a settlement in Kramatorsk, Donetsk, which has had a front line spanning over 1000 kilometers for more than three years, three people, including a child, were injured.
The Ukrainian Air Force reported that out of 55 drones launched by Russia during the night, 32 were successfully shot down while the remaining eight failed to reach their targets due to electronic warfare methods. The fate of the other 15 drones was not disclosed. Dnipropetrovsk Regional Governor Serhiy Lysak stated on Telegram that a fire broke out in Dnipro in the south of the country due to the attacks, causing damage to homes and vehicles and injuring 15 people, half of whom were taken to the hospital, with one woman in critical condition.
Lysak reported that an administrative building, infrastructure, 4 multi-story residential buildings, and 15 private houses were damaged. Mayor Ihor Terekhov of the northeastern city of Kharkiv mentioned that over 20 drone attacks had targeted the city, which had been under attack almost every night for the past week. Terekhov described this as a new tactic by the enemy to frighten civilians, as the targets included the city’s civilian infrastructure, production facilities, and businesses that form the backbone of Kharkiv. Governor Oleh Syniehubov also reported four injuries in the city, along with damage to multiple residential buildings and storage facilities due to the attacks.
