At Habur Customs Gate, a quantity of drugs was confiscated by the Ministry of Trade, Customs Protection Directorate, totaling 370 kilograms.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Trade, suspicious vehicle entering the customs area was monitored under the anti-smuggling and intelligence activities conducted by the Habur Customs Protection Smuggling and Intelligence Directorate. The vehicle, subjected to x-ray control by the teams, was found to have suspicious density in its trailer. In detailed searches conducted with the participation of narcotics detector dogs, 370 kilograms of “captagon” drugs hidden within the legal cargo were seized. The investigation regarding the operation is being carried out by the Silopi Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office.
