Drug tunnel connecting two countries discovered: Depth 12 meters

A tunnel, 12 meters deep, used for drug smuggling was uncovered between Ceuta, a territory of Spain in North Africa, and Morocco.
According to a statement made by the Spanish police, a tunnel extending from the Moroccan territories to Ceuta, a territory of Spain in North Africa, was found as part of an operation against drug smuggling.
During a search in a warehouse in the industrial zone, the tunnel was uncovered and it was determined to be equipped with a basic lighting system, but its length has not been determined yet.
In an operation called “Hades,” 14 people, including 2 police officers, have been arrested in the past 3 weeks, and 6,000 kilograms of drugs have been seized.
Ceuta, a point of passage for drug smuggling between North Africa and Europe, has long been at the center of smuggling operations.
