Election Winner Calls Netanyahu: Germany’s New Chancellor Will Challenge Arrest Warrant

The expected new Chancellor of Germany from the Christian Democrats, Merz, is planning to challenge the International Criminal Court’s arrest warrant by inviting Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu to Germany.

According to a statement from Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s office, Friederich Merz, the election winner in Germany, had a phone call with Netanyahu.

A spokesperson for the Christian Democrats (CDU) party stated that Conservative leader Merz, the future Chancellor of Germany, will challenge the International Criminal Court by inviting Netanyahu to Germany.

The International Criminal Court had issued an arrest warrant for Netanyahu due to the massacres in Gaza.
