Elon Musk has stated that he has no interest in purchasing the popular short video application TikTok, owned by the Chinese company ByteDance. President Donald Trump had mentioned that the application could be banned or sold in the U.S. due to national security concerns. Musk clarified that he hasn’t made an offer for TikTok, emphasizing that he is not familiar with the short video format and does not personally use the application. While ByteDance has until January to continue its operations in the U.S., Apple and Google have yet to bring the said application back to their stores.
