Expected Amount of Retirement Holiday Bonus Will Be Clarified Today

The retirement holiday bonus had increased by 50% last year, reaching the level of 3,000 lira. The rate of increase in the holiday bonus that will be benefited by SSK, Bağ-Kur, Retirement Fund, and other beneficiaries will be clarified today. It is expected that the holiday bonus will increase to 4,000 lira with a 33% increase.
The final increase in the holiday bonus for millions of retirees is approaching. The amount will be clarified today. The holiday bonus, currently at 3,000 lira, is expected to increase by 33%, reaching 4,000 lira. A legal regulation is required for the increase in retirement bonuses. If a decision is made on the rate of increase in the new week, the regulation is expected to be sent to the Presidency of the Parliament. Retirees are given bonuses for Ramadan and Eid al-Adha every year. This year, holiday bonuses will also be paid in March and June.
ECONOMIC MANAGEMENT ANALYZED 3 DIFFERENT SCENARIOS
Economic management met during the week to discuss the increase in the retirement holiday bonus. Impact analyses were evaluated for the 3 separate scenarios prepared by the bureaucrats of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance.
Currently, the budget cost of the 6,000 lira bonus given to retirees for two holidays is 99 billion lira. If the bonus is increased to 4,000 lira, there will be an additional cost of 34.5 billion lira. Approximately 16 million retirees will benefit from the regulation. Those who become eligible for retirement as of March 1st will also be able to receive the holiday bonus.
