Explosion at fireworks factory in India: 8 dead

A fire broke out at a fireworks factory in India following an explosion. According to initial assessments, eight people lost their lives in the fire. The explosion occurred at a fireworks manufacturing facility in the city of Visakhapatnam in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, as reported by The Times of India. Residents in the area mentioned that the fire engulfed the building within minutes after the fireworks at the facility exploded. Authorities stated that, according to preliminary findings, eight out of the 15 people present in the factory during the fire lost their lives, while seven were injured. Officials informed about the critical condition of the injured and warned that the death toll could rise. In a separate incident on April 1st, a blast at a fireworks storage facility in the state of Gujarat in India had claimed the lives of 21 people.
