The expectation survey conducted by AA Finans for the February inflation data, which will be announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜIK) on March 3, Monday, concluded with the participation of 20 economists. The average of the inflation expectations of economists who participated in the survey for February was 2.97%. Economists’ inflation expectations for February ranged from 2.30% to 3.40%. According to the average of economists’ inflation expectations for February (2.97%), it is predicted that the annual inflation, which was 42.12% in the previous month, will decrease to 40%. While the expected increase in the CPI for 12 months later decreased from 25.38% to 25.26%, it decreased from 17.72% to 17.26% for 24 months later.
