The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry will make a 2.2 billion lira agricultural support payment to farmers. Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Ibrahim Yumaklı, shared information about agricultural support payments on his social media account. Yumaklı stated that they value production and support farmers by transferring 2 billion 164 million 322 thousand lira of agricultural support payments to the farmers’ accounts. The information in the post reveals that the support amounts were determined as 1 billion 997 million 350 thousand lira for cereals, 94 million 29 thousand lira for licensed warehousing, and 72 million 943 thousand lira for rural development investments. Cereal support will be paid for wheat, barley, rye, oats, and triticale products in the provinces of Aksaray, Eskişehir, Bursa, Muş, Ağrı, Denizli, Manisa, Mersin, Giresun, Kastamonu, Bingöl, Trabzon, and Isparta.
