The February 2025 inflation data has been announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK). Accordingly, Inflation was 2.27% in February on a monthly basis while it fell to 39.05% on an annual basis. The expectation survey regarding the February inflation data to be announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) on Monday, March 3, conducted by AA Finance with the participation of 20 economists, has concluded. The average of the economists’ expectations for February inflation was 2.97%. Economists’ inflation expectations for February ranged from 2.30% to 3.40%. According to the average of economists’ inflation expectations for February (2.97%), it is predicted that the annual inflation, which was 42.12% the previous month, will decrease to 40%. Furthermore, economists’ end-of-year inflation expectations as of February are 28.67%. The Consumer Price Index recorded an increase of 5.03% in January. While the expected increase in the CPI for 12 months later decreased from 25.38% to 25.26%, it also decreased from 17.72% to 17.26% for 24 months later.
