The Financial Stability Committee convened under the chairmanship of Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek. In a written statement released by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, it was noted that the meeting comprehensively evaluated the macroeconomic outlook of the world and Turkey. Furthermore, the statement indicated that current developments in the banking, capital markets, and insurance sectors were discussed during the meeting. The statement also used the expression, “The Committee continues to work with a comprehensive approach to maintain macrofinancial stability, which is one of the most important elements of balanced and sustainable growth.”
