First export agreement signed for Bayraktar TB3: Indonesia to purchase 60 units

The first export contract was signed for the Bayraktar TB3 unmanned aerial vehicle, produced by Baykar to be stationed on TCG Anadolu ship and undergoing testing. Within the framework of the agreement with Indonesia, 60 Bayraktar TB3 units will be exported.
During President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s visit to Indonesia, a “Joint Production Agreement for the Export of Bayraktar TB3 and Bayraktar AKINCI” was signed between Baykar CEO Haluk Bayraktar and Republikorp Founder Norman Joesoef. According to the information received, within the scope of the agreement, Indonesia will receive 60 Bayraktar TB3 units along with 9 Bayraktar AKINCI units. Thus, the first export of Bayraktar TB3 will be to Indonesia.
BAYRAKTAR TB3 FEATURES: The Bayraktar TB3 UAV has the ability to take off and land from short runways, such as on TCG Anadolu, due to its foldable wing structure. The Bayraktar TB3 carries significant innovations compared to other UAVs in its class with its capabilities. The national UAV, equipped with beyond line of sight communication capability, can be controlled from very long distances. As a result, it provides a multiplier effect on the deterrent power of its user by carrying out reconnaissance-observation, intelligence, and attack missions against overseas targets with its smart munitions. The Bayraktar AKINCI, with high altitude, long endurance in the air, and a wide range of useful payloads, has significant deterrent power on the battlefield, as well as contributing to humanitarian aid teams in situations such as fire, earthquake, search and rescue operations.
