Footage of T4 Air Base Hit by Israel Surfaces

The T4 Air Base in central Syria, which Israel has been attempting to destroy, has been captured on film. Located to the west of Palmyra (Tadmur) in Homs province, this airport has been used by the Assad regime for many years. T4, one of the country’s largest air bases, covers a vast area. Situated strategically in central Syria with long runways and large areas for aircraft deployment, the airport is connected by road to major cities like Homs and Damascus. Originally modernized with support from the Soviet Union during the Cold War era, the airfield became one of the former regime’s most important operational bases. The base has also been used by Russian and Iranian forces. Israel has increased its attacks on the base targeting Iranian forces after the fall of the regime, aiming to completely neutralize it. It appears that in the recent attacks, the central parts of the main runway and radar systems were hit, along with aircraft hangars being a target, leading to some warplanes being put out of service. A source mentioned that in the four attacks launched by Israel yesterday, the S200 and S400 air defense systems were also targeted.
