Founder Leader of Namibia Passes Away

Sam Nujoma, the founding leader of Namibia from the Southwest of Africa, has passed away at the age of 95. The Presidency of Namibia shared the news of the death of the founding leader Sam Nujoma. According to the statement, Nujoma closed his eyes to life at the age of 95. Serving as the president for 15 years from 1990 to 2005, Nujoma was also Namibia’s first democratically elected president. Nujoma was one of the leaders who played a role in his country gaining independence from South Africa.
