IS THERE A DISCOUNT ON GASOLINE AND DIESEL?
Following the 2 lira 6 kuruş reduction in gasoline prices reflected in the prices last night, a change is expected in diesel prices as well. Accordingly, as of March 8, 2025 (from midnight), there will be a reduction of 1 lira 35 kuruş in diesel prices.

In Istanbul, diesel is sold at 46.65 lira per liter. The average price of gasoline is 43.31 lira per liter.

HOW ARE FUEL PRICES CALCULATED?
In Turkey, when calculating gasoline and diesel prices, the Refinery Sales Price excluding VAT is calculated by adding the Special Consumption Tax and Energy Market Regulatory Authority share to the Duty-Free Refinery Price. The Duty-Free Refinery Price is calculated by monitoring daily CIF Mediterranean product prices published in the Mediterranean-Italian market, and the daily Dollar exchange rate to obtain a duty-free refinery ceiling sales price in a certain price fluctuation difference.
