Full Details of the USA’s Secret War Plans Leaked

Recently released documents on the leakage of secret war plans in the USA reveal that officials shared confidential information in a Signal group.
The aftermath of the scandal resulting from a journalist being mistakenly added to the Signal group where secret plans for Yemen attacks were discussed and the subsequent spreading of conversations continues to resonate. Following US officials’ defense during a Senate intelligence hearing claiming that “no secret information was leaked” in the said Signal conversation group, The Atlantic, who first broke the news, has now published all the secret discussions. The Atlantic revealed that US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth shared the timings of the attacks and many details related to the operation in a message titled “TEAM UPDATE.” The messages shared by Hegseth contained geographical information, the locations of militants, and clear details about the weapons used. While the Pentagon did not provide any information about the attacks and did not disclose any details about the operation, Hegseth stated that the attacks were a great success and emphasized their effectiveness. WHAT HAPPENED?
During a Senate session attended by Democratic senators and high-ranking national security officials under the Trump administration, such as US Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard, FBI Director Kash Patel, and CIA Director John Ratcliffe, the sharing of military operation plans against the Houthis in Yemen in a message group where The Atlantic’s Editor-in-Chief Jeffrey Goldberg was mistakenly added was harshly criticized. White House Spokesperson Karoline Leavitt described the allegations as “exaggerated,” claiming that there were no discussions on war plans in the message group, while President Donald Trump initially said he “knew nothing about it.” In subsequent statements, he denied sharing any confidential information, supported National Security Advisor Michael Waltz, saying, “Michael Waltz learned a lesson, he’s a good person.”
