Gaza Government Warns Against Blocking Humanitarian Aid

The government in Gaza has warned about the serious consequences that Israel’s violation of the ceasefire agreement by halting the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip will lead to.
In a written statement from the Media Office of the government in Gaza, it was noted that Israel has continued to shut down border crossings for 3 days, obstructing the entry of food, medical, and other aid supplies.
Stressing that blocking humanitarian aid entry is a new “war crime” that exacerbates the humanitarian disaster faced by 2.4 million people in the Gaza Strip, it was emphasized that this act disregards international humanitarian law and disrespect towards the international community. It was also highlighted that water, food, medicine, and shelter are fundamental rights that cannot be violated according to international human rights, and a warning was issued regarding the serious consequences of this crime. The statement further condemned Israel’s use of the basic rights of Palestinians as a “cheap blackmail tool” to achieve their political objectives, despite the suffering of hundreds of thousands of people.
