Gold trading near peak levels

Starting the day with an increase, the price per gram of gold is currently at 3,684 Turkish Lira. Following a decrease in the price of gold yesterday, the gram price ended the day just below the previous closing at 3,677 Turkish Lira. At the beginning of the new day, the gram price of gold has seen a 0.2% increase, reaching 3,684 Turkish Lira as of 09:40. During the same time, a quarter of gold is selling at 6,100 Turkish Lira, while the Republic gold coin is being sold at 24,290 Turkish Lira. The price of one ounce of gold is trading at $3,016 with a 0.1% premium compared to the previous closing. The impact of President Donald Trump’s tariff decisions continues to affect asset prices, as uncertainties around the US’s protectionist trade stance, inflation, and recession fears continue to support the demand for safe havens. Reports in the US media suggest that the White House may narrow the reciprocal tariffs to be announced on April 2nd, exempting certain sectors. Additionally, Trump mentioned that tariffs targeting industries such as automobiles and pharmaceuticals may be announced soon. Analysts note that technically, the resistance level for the price of one ounce of gold is at $3,040, while the support level is at $3,000.
