Greece Wants to Discuss Countries Joining the European Army

Greek Defense Minister Dendias expressed the need for a serious discussion on which countries should join the common European defense. Speaking at an informal meeting of EU defense ministers in the Polish capital Warsaw, Dendias emphasized Greece’s support for the idea of a common European defense. Dendias stressed the importance of a serious debate on which third countries would join the European project, highlighting that these countries should adhere to the principles and values of EU member states. He also stated that countries posing a threat to EU member states should not be included in the European defense structure under any circumstances.
