In the fishing village of Naoussa on Paros island, homes and businesses were flooded after a stream overflowed. The flood swept away around 40 vehicles, turning the streets into a lake. There were no casualties or injuries due to the flood, but the material damage was significant. The mayor of Paros stated that heavy machinery was needed to clear the roads. Similar scenes were seen in the touristic island of Mykonos. Authorities advised residents, especially in Paros and Mykonos, to stay indoors. Classes were suspended in many islands as a precaution. The National Meteorological Service warned that the storm, with winds reaching up to 74 kilometers per hour, would continue to have an impact. In a storm named Ian, which hit Greece in September, 17 people lost their lives.
