Halkbank’s “Jet Luck” Competition for Entrepreneurs with Trust in Business Ideas
With the “Jet Luck” competition organized by Halkbank approaching, applications are open for those who want to participate until April 7th. Entrepreneurs have the opportunity to present their projects to Turkey’s most prominent business people, with a grand prize awaiting the competition winner. Other finalists will also receive surprise gifts.
JetLuck is a countdown to an exciting and dynamic elevator speech competition aimed at entrepreneurs presenting their projects in the most impressive way in the shortest time possible.
The competition, happening on May 10th at the Halkbank Towers, tests not only the content of the venture but also the entrepreneur’s communication skills, quick decision-making abilities, and persuasion proficiency.
In this competition, entrepreneurs who pass through the pre-evaluation process will have the chance to meet with a jury of leading business people while on an elevator ride, presenting their business ideas and projects.
HOW WILL THE COMPETITION WORK?
Entrepreneurs, unaware of which jury member they will encounter, will be directed to the elevator one after the other on the day of the competition.
While the jury member, who is unaware of the entrepreneurs, descends in the elevator from the 43rd floor, the entrepreneur will be waiting for them at the bottom. When the door opens, a surprise encounter will occur.
During the 50-second elevator ride, the entrepreneur is expected to influence the jury member. The footage from inside the elevator will be livestreamed to the jury room through fixed cameras and microphones.
Entrepreneurs who can deliver an impressive presentation and convince the business person with their project will proceed to the next stage.
In this stage, the entrepreneur will present their project in detail for five minutes in front of the jury. By the end of the day, the entrepreneur with the highest jury score will win the grand prize. Other participating entrepreneurs will receive surprise gifts.
WHO CAN APPLY FOR THE COMPETITION?
Jet Luck will be an event open to entrepreneurs at different levels, from those in the idea stage to those who have completed feasibility studies or developed a prototype (MVP).
WHEN AND HOW TO APPLY?
Entrepreneurs can apply for the competition on halkbankkobi.com.tr between March 3, 2025, and April 7, 2025.
All entrepreneurs with submitted applications will be evaluated comprehensively based on the information provided in the application form, the presentations introducing their ventures, and video documents.
Upon the end of applications, entrepreneurs who pass the pre-evaluation will have physical or online meetings arranged.
THE COMPETITION ON MAY 10TH
Entrepreneurs whose applications are approved will have the chance to participate in the Jet Luck event on May 10, 2025. They will have 50 seconds in the Halkbank elevator to present their projects to one of Turkey’s leading business people and persuade them.
