Houthis Unyielding Despite US Attack: Operations to Continue until Gaza Blockade Lifted

The Houthis in Yemen, who were targeted by a US attack, are not backing down. The Houthis, who claimed to have hit a US aircraft carrier in the Red Sea, stated that maritime operations will continue until the Gaza blockade is lifted. The US, on the other hand, sent a message that attacks will continue until the Houthis cease their attacks on ships.

US President Donald Trump had announced that he had ordered the US military to attack the Houthis in Yemen. The death toll from the attacks in Yemen by the US and the UK has risen to 31, with at least 101 people wounded.

HOW LONG WILL THE US ATTACKS CONTINUE? US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth delivered a message that the US attacks will continue until the Houthis stop attacking ships.

Hegseth stated, “I don’t care what happens in the civil war in Yemen, my concern is preventing the firing on assets in this critical waterway.”

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that the US military operation in Yemen will continue until the Houthis no longer have the capacity to attack ships.

Rubio said, “If the Houthis did not receive support from Iran, they would not be able to attack ships.”

HOUTHIS: MARITIME OPERATIONS WILL CONTINUE UNTIL GAZA BLOCKADE IS LIFTED

The Houthis stated that maritime operations will continue until the Gaza blockade is lifted and aid access is granted.

In a statement by the Houthis, it was said, “The real threat to international maritime transportation in the Red Sea is the US attacks on Yemen.”

The Houthis announced that they targeted a US aircraft carrier in the Red Sea with ballistic missiles and drones.
