Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş announced that the Home Care Assistance has been increased to 10,125 lira per month in the scope of the Family Year. Göktaş shared on social media with the note “Family is our strongest bond, our safest haven.” Expressing that they see the ‘Home Care Assistance’ provided for disabled citizens to continue their lives with their families at home as one of the most important services, Göktaş indicated that he visited the Yalçınkaya family benefiting from this support today. Göktaş stated that within the scope of the Family Year, they have strengthened family-centered care service models, saying, “In this regard, we have increased the Monthly Home Care Assistance payment to 10,125 lira. We made a total payment of 5.4 billion lira to 541 thousand citizens this month. We have provided 54.7 billion lira support just in the year 2024.” Minister Göktaş also included photos of his visit to the Yalçınkaya family in his post.
