Inaugural Trip of the Touristic Diyarbakır Express

The Touristic Diyarbakır Express has embarked on its first trip of the new season. Train services will be arranged biweekly, allowing passengers to discover the historical and cultural richness of Southeastern Anatolia. The inauguration ceremony for this season’s first trip of the Express took place at Ankara Train Station. The train services will be held biweekly, with 4 trips outbound and 4 return trips planned to revive domestic tourism and increase intercity cultural interaction. Departing from Ankara every Friday at 13:55, the train will reach Diyarbakır after a 3-hour tourist stop in Malatya. On the return journey, the train will depart from Diyarbakır on Sunday at 12:30 and arrive in Ankara after a 4-hour stop for sightseeing at Elazığ’s Yolçatı Station. Passengers will have the opportunity to experience the region’s cultural atmosphere first-hand during the breaks in Malatya and Yolçatı.
