The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) shares the inflation data on the 3rd of every month. However, due to this date being an official holiday, the announcement will be at a later date. It is expected that the inflation rate for March 2025 will be announced on Monday, April 7, 2025. WHAT IS THE INFLATION EXPECTATION? The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (TCMB) published the Market Participants Survey for March, conducted with 68 participants consisting of real and financial sector representatives and professionals. According to the survey, the inflation expectation for the CPI increase in March, which was 2.26% last month, rose to 2.27% in this survey period. The year-end CPI increase expectation decreased from 28.30% to 28.04%. The expectation of an increase in the CPI for the next 12 months decreased from 25.26% to 24.55%, and for the next 24 months, it decreased from 17.26% to 17.06%.
