Inspection by Russian Defense Minister: Visit to Caspian Fleet

The Russian Defense Minister, Andrey Belousov, inspected the fleet of the Russian Navy in the Caspian Sea. According to a statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense, Belusov visited the Republic of Dagestan, which is connected to his country and located on the shores of the Caspian Sea. During the visit, Belusov inspected the work on the development of the infrastructure of the Caspian Fleet and held meetings with military officials. The Commander of the Russian Navy, Aleksandr Moiseyev, and the Commander of the Caspian Fleet, Oleg Zverev, provided Belousov with information on the training of soldiers in the fleet and the development of infrastructure at naval bases. Belousov emphasized the need to put the constructed facilities into operation as soon as possible and presented state awards to “successful” soldiers who participated in the war in Ukraine.
