Reports suggest that five plane loads of phones have been moved from China to America. SAMSUNG TO BE AFFECTED Another smartphone giant, Samsung, is also facing cost hikes. The South Korean company conducts a major portion of its production in Vietnam. President Donald Trump had imposed an additional 46% tax on imports from Vietnam. Hence, it is estimated that there will be a cost increase of up to 20% in Samsung models.
