Irish jockey loses his life after falling during a race

Irish jockey Michael O’Sullivan tragically lost his life after falling during a race.
The 24-year-old Irish jockey fell from his horse during a race at Thurles Racecourse in Ireland on February 6th.
Despite receiving treatment at the hospital for his severe injuries, the jockey sadly passed away.
In a statement, Jennifer Pugh, the Chief Medical Officer of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board (IHRB), mentioned that “Michael’s family has decided to donate his organs, making a real difference in the lives of other patients as they do so”.
