Israel Denies Entry to British Members of Parliament

Israel has prevented two members of the British Labour Party from entering the country. The purpose of the visit by the known legislators who frequently call for a boycott against Israel was alleged to be to document the army and spread anti-Israel hate speech.
According to The Times of Israel newspaper, a plane carrying Labour Party members Abtisam Mohamed and Yuan Yang along with two assistants landed at Ben Gurion Airport yesterday at 2:30 pm.
During the questioning at the airport, Mohamed and Yang, who are known to call for boycotts against Israel, stated that they were part of an official parliamentary delegation visiting Israel.
ENTRY TO ISRAEL WAS BLOCKED The Israeli Ministry of Interior claimed that there was no official delegation from the UK visiting the country and therefore blocked the entry of the mentioned members of parliament and their two assistants. The Ministry alleged that Mohamed and Yang’s visit aimed to “document (attacks of) the Israeli army and spread anti-Israel hate speech.” The Tel Aviv government also denied entry to European Parliament members Lynn Boylan and Rima Hassan on an official visit back in February.
