Israel Prepares for Occupation in Gaza: Major Operation Underway

Following the breakdown of a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, clashes continue in Gaza. The Israel army struck the largest hospital in southern Gaza. According to Israeli media, the Netanyahu administration is preparing to occupy Gaza.

Israel’s airstrike hit the Nasser Hospital, the largest in southern Gaza, resulting in deaths and injuries. The Israeli army claimed that Hamas was using the hospital as an operation center. Hamas stated that Ismail Berhum, a political bureau member, was killed in the attack while receiving treatment in the hospital.

MILITARY PREPARES FOR OCCUPATION OPERATION: The Israeli press reported that the Israeli military is preparing for a significant occupation operation in Gaza. It is alleged that Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir is readying numerous military units, including reserve forces, for a large-scale ground operation in Gaza. The ongoing operations in Gaza are also believed to be efforts to divert attention before the major occupation operation.

GAZANS SEEKING A COUNTRY TO GO ON: While Israel continues its operations, they are also seeking countries willing to receive Gazans who wish to leave. The plan to send Palestinians who voluntarily want to leave Gaza to third countries took effect last week. A “Voluntary Migration Office” has been established for this purpose. It was announced that the first group of 70 individuals was sent to Europe as part of the bureau’s activities. It was learned that some of those sent had European citizenship, while others had relatives in Europe. Some skeptics express concerns that the program may be used for mandatory migration in the future.

US BLAMES HAMAS: Speaking with the US media, US Special Envoy for Middle East Steve Witkoff alleged that Hamas is responsible for the renewed conflicts in Gaza. Witkoff stated, “I thought we had an acceptable agreement. We even believed we had Hamas’s approval.” He mentioned that if Hamas reaches out again, the US would still be “sensitive” to the situation, expressing hope to bring everyone back to the negotiation table and bring the hostages home.
