During an airstrike on the town of Beit Lahiya in northern Gaza, 9 people lost their lives. It has been reported that 2 of the deceased were journalists.

While Hamas leaders in Cairo were conducting ceasefire negotiations with mediators for Gaza, Israeli forces targeted the town of Beit Lahiya in the northern region of Gaza, according to information provided by health officials to Reuters.

At least 9 Palestinians, including two local journalists, were killed in the attack, with others being injured. Health officials mentioned that the attack resulted in severe injuries to a significant number of people both inside and outside a vehicle that was hit. Witnesses and fellow journalists stated that the individuals in the vehicle were on duty for the Al-Khair Foundation in Beit Lahiya and were accompanied by journalists and photographers when they came under attack.
