Israeli Army Forces Palestinians into Exodus

The Israeli army demanded the evacuation of certain areas in the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip. Palestinians were urged to move to shelters west of Khan Yunis.

Israeli Army Spokesperson Avichay Adraee, in a statement from his X account, warned Palestinians living in certain areas of the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip to evacuate their areas. Adraee stated, “We reiterate our urgent warning to Gazans living in the eastern and western parts of Rafah city, as well as in the towns of En-Nasr, Ash-Shawkeh, and the neighborhoods of As-Salam, El-Minara, and Kayzan en-Najar.” Adraee indicated that Palestinians living in these areas must urgently go to shelters in the Mevasi area west of Khan Yunis city. The Israeli army had expanded its ground invasion in the south of the Gaza Strip on March 29.

90% OF PALESTINIANS DISPLACED

During the attacks that began on October 7, 2023, and continued until the ceasefire on January 19, 2025, the Israeli army had also released maps instructing Palestinians to migrate within Gaza. According to numbers shared by the United Nations, approximately 90% of the 2.3 million Palestinians in Gaza have been displaced at least once due to Israeli army attacks. The Israeli army violated the ceasefire on January 19 and started intense attacks on the Gaza Strip on the morning of March 18.
