Israeli Captive Soldier Appeals to Netanyahu: You are Responsible for My Life

Israeli captive soldier Baron Barslavsky addressed Binyamin Netanyahu, stating that the next bombs will fall on him, holding the Prime Minister responsible for his life.
The Israeli captive in Gaza emphasized that it is impossible to rescue captives through military means and that Netanyahu is responsible for his life. In a video released on the Telegram account of the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, Jerusalem Brigades, the Israeli captive said, “I am Baron Barslavsky. A Jerusalemite, 21 years old, I am a soldier in the Israeli army. I am a captive in the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, Jerusalem Brigades.” Addressing Netanyahu, Barslavsky pointed out that not even one captive can be retrieved through military pressure, stating that Israel’s military pressure in Gaza would be fruitless. Barslavsky expressed that Netanyahu is responsible for his life, asking, “What will you do to us? What are your next steps? Bombs are falling continuously every day. The next bombs will fall on me. Prime Minister Netanyahu, you are responsible for my life. You have no chance of getting me out of here using military pressure. Even if you turn the world upside down, you cannot retrieve me through a military operation.” Barslavsky also appealed to U.S. President Donald Trump, “Trump, where are you? Where are your promises? Didn’t you say we would be released through an agreement? Why didn’t you stop the war? Gaza is all destroyed. Why are we, the captives, being left to die here? Aren’t we human? Think of me, Netanyahu. You are at home there, traveling from one country to another. I am in psychological torture. There is no hospital. No one will take me to the hospital. The thing is; I will die, and you will bury me in a hole in the sand. Everything here is disgusting. Destruction, animals, rats walking on my feet…”
“CHILDREN DIE EVERY DAY IN GAZA”
The Israeli captive continued, “Netanyahu, stop this foolish war. You will gain nothing from it. You will not be able to retrieve me alive or in a coffin. Put an end to this nightmare. At least bring in some food and drink. Netanyahu, stop lying, stop shedding blood. Children die every day in Gaza. Little children aged 8, 9, and 10. They bury even one-day-old babies in plastic bags. I have been held in hell in Gaza for over a year and a half, with endless suffering, lack of food and drink, and serious illnesses every day. Most of the time, I am sick. My skin itches all day long. I am in pain. I don’t know what these illnesses are. There are red spots all over my body. My health is very poor.”
