Israeli Military Strikes Southern Lebanon: 2 Dead

Reports indicate that two individuals lost their lives and two others were injured in a series of air raids conducted by the Israeli military in southern Lebanon. According to news from Lebanon’s official NNA agency, the Israeli forces targeted a light commercial vehicle and construction equipment with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the town of Zibkine, connected to the city of Tyre. Additionally, it was shared in the report that Israel also targeted another light commercial vehicle with a UAV in the town of Nakoura to the south.

The Israeli Defense Forces spokesperson Avichay Adraee alleged on the social media platform X that an IDF UAV targeted two alleged Hezbollah members in the town of Zibkine in southern Lebanon. Adraee claimed that the Hezbollah members were targeted as they were attempting to build infrastructure in the area. Despite a ceasefire agreement reached on November 27, 2024, between Israel and Lebanon, Israel has persistently violated the terms of the agreement. According to Lebanese authorities, hundreds of individuals have been killed or injured in Israeli attacks following the establishment of the ceasefire. Despite the withdrawal clause in the ceasefire agreement, the Israeli military continues to maintain a presence in five key points along the border during ground attacks on Lebanon, including the Hamamis Hill, Aziyye Hill, Uveyda Hill, Balat Mountain, and Lebbune Hill.
