Kremlin denied: “Chernobyl Attack Allegation is Kiev’s Fabrication”

The response from the Kremlin came to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s claim that Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant was attacked with UAVs by Russia.
Kremlin Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov denied Zelensky’s statement, stating that “Accusations of attacking Chernobyl by us are a fabrication of Kiev.”
Peskov emphasized that such claims are attempts to disrupt possible negotiation processes with Ukraine, with individuals within the Kiev regime working against initiating negotiations. He stated, “It is clear that those who oppose the initiation of the negotiation process within the depths of the Kiev regime will continue to exist. This is evident. It is crystal clear that these individuals will do everything to disrupt the current process.”
