Kremlin Refuses to Approach Ceasefire: “Rushed, Not Beneficial to Russia”

Kremlin adviser Yuri Ushakov stated that the temporary ceasefire is “nothing more than a breather for the Ukrainian army.” Emphasizing that the 30-day ceasefire has no benefits for Russia, Ushakov indicated that Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky’s offer of a ceasefire “unfortunately did not receive a meaningful response.”
According to Russian media reports, a high-ranking official from the Kremlin commented on the proposed temporary ceasefire by the Trump administration.
Yuri Ushakov, an adviser to the Russian President Vladimir Putin, gave an interview to the Russia-1 television channel.

Ushakov emphasized that the 30-day ceasefire is not beneficial to Russia.
Ushakov highlighted that the ceasefire proposal was “hasty” and should be updated considering Russia’s interests.
“NO MEANINGFUL RESPONSE FROM RUSSIA” During talks in Saudi Arabia, the US and Ukraine agreed on a 30-day ceasefire plan. However, Russia’s response to this proposal remained uncertain. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky also stated in his remarks that “unfortunately no meaningful response came from Russia” regarding the ceasefire offer.
