Landslide in Indonesia: 10 people lost their lives

Following heavy rainfall in Indonesia, a landslide occurred which resulted in the deaths of 10 people. The landslide, caused by the excessive rain on Java Island, led to a portion of soil falling onto the edge of a cliffside road, claiming the lives. Local police official Andi Yudha Pranata made a statement regarding the incident. Pranata stated that due to heavy rainfall on Java Island, both floods and landslides have occurred, with the soil falling onto vehicles driving on a road along the slope. He noted that the lifeless bodies of a total of 10 individuals, three of whom were children, were recovered from beneath the soil. The seasonal rains in Indonesia, lasting from October to April, often lead to frequent occurrences of floods and landslides.
