In the United States, two members of the House of Representatives introduced a bill to print the picture of President Donald Trump, who was re-elected for the second time in the country, instead of Benjamin Franklin on $100 bills. Republican House member Brandon Gill and Troy Nehls announced on social media platform X that they presented the bill named “Golden Age 2025 Act” to the House of Representatives. Nehls stated, “No one has done more than President Trump to bring America into a golden age. Featuring him on the $100 bill is a small way to honor everything he will accomplish in the next 4 years.” Gill urged support for the bill by saying, “Let’s make history.” If the proposal becomes law, all $100 bills printed after December 31, 2028 will feature Trump’s picture.
