Lowest Inflation Level in 4 Years in Argentina

The battle against triple-digit inflation in Argentina has come to an end. Inflation has dropped to the lowest level in the past 4 years. Since President Javier Milei took office, inflation in Argentina has reached its lowest point. Annual consumer inflation fell below 100% for the first time in 2 years. Monthly inflation in the South American country dropped to 2.2% in January, reaching its lowest level since mid-2020. Annual inflation also decreased to 84.5%. This development is considered a significant economic achievement for President Milei, who began implementing strict austerity measures over a year ago. Milei continues negotiations with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for a new agreement.
