Main water pipeline burst, vehicles “froze”

In a neighborhood in Detroit, USA, a main water pipeline built in the 1930s burst. Following the explosion for unknown reasons, the neighborhood was submerged in water. Due to the temperature dropping to -21 degrees, the water flooding the streets froze. This led to interesting sights like vehicles parked on the street being trapped in the frozen water. It was reported that city officials continued their efforts to solve the problem following the incident on February 17th.
