March 2025 Diesel and Fertilizer Support Payments: When Will Diesel and Fertilizer Support be Paid, Has It Come Through?

The timing of when diesel and fertilizer support payments will be deposited into accounts in March is at the top of the agenda for thousands of farmers. Every month, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry will provide farmers with basic support, planned production support, and production development assistance. So, when will the March 2025 diesel and fertilizer support payments be made?The countdown for the March 2025 diesel and fertilizer support payments has begun. Farmers who will receive their payments through the Farmer Registration System are eager to know when the March payments will be deposited into their accounts. The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry will cover 50% of the diesel cost and 25% of the fertilizer cost for all products with basic support. So when will the diesel and fertilizer support payments for March be made?The diesel and fertilizer support payments were transferred to producers’ accounts by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry on February 21st. Therefore, it is expected that the March diesel and fertilizer support payments will be made by March 21st. Farmers can check the status of diesel and fertilizer support payments through e-Government with their T.C. identification number and passwords. Simply logging into the “Farmer Registration System” screen will be sufficient. The 2025 support coefficient value is 244 Turkish Lira per decare. Basic support will cover 50% of the diesel cost and 25% of the fertilizer cost for all products. Farmers producing barley and wheat in the second category will receive 317.2 Turkish Lira per decare, while those producing sunflower, hazelnut, soybean, dry beans, tea in the third category, and cotton and rice in the fourth category will receive 366 Turkish Lira, and 549 Turkish Lira per decare as basic support, respectively.Barley, asparagus, oilseed sunflower, wheat, rapeseed, dry beans, lentils, maize, chickpeas, cotton (yielded), potatoes, dry onions, soybeans, and forage plants have been included in the list of products covered by planned production. Additional support payments will be made to farmers producing these products. Their diesel costs will be covered by 100% and fertilizer costs by 50%.In areas designated as milk basins (Amasya, Bingöl, Bitlis, Çorum, Elazığ, Erzincan, Erzurum, Muş, Tokat, and Tunceli), farmers producing fodder plants will receive additional planned production support up to 50%. Producers conducting production suitable for planned production in areas with underground water constraints will have 100% of their diesel and fertilizer costs covered.Support will continue to be provided for the use of certified seeds, certified/standard seedlings, organic farming, good agricultural practices, and solid organic-organomineral fertilizer. In the scope of biological and biotechnical combat support, the support amount for greenhouse cultivation in 2025 has been increased by 50% from 2,550 Turkish Lira per decare to 3,825 Turkish Lira and for open-field cultivation from 870 Turkish Lira to 1,305 Turkish Lira.For products stored in licensed warehouses, rent support will be paid as 75% of the rental fee tariff determined by the Ministry of Trade. The participation premium support for the Farm Accounting Data Network (FADN) system has been increased by 50% to 1500 Turkish Lira for participating enterprises. Agricultural dissemination and consultancy support have been increased by 104% to 294,000 Turkish Lira.
